Downtown Women's Center

Downtown Women's Center mission is to provide housing and services to overcome homelessness and addiction. We have two shelters that house up to 27 women in addiction recovery with up to 6 of their children. We also provide quality, affordable housing to 34 low-income individuals at Meridian Apartments. Our Transitional Housing program currently has over 70 homeless people (including 50 children) in homes scattered about the city. Our 4 thrift stores employ not only the homeless but also the elderly and the disabled.
